Description

100% Cabernet Franc from a field of 1½ ha with gravel soil. There is a natural, low yield in the field of between 30 and 40 hl ha. Grown organically, harvested by hand, vinified naturally without the addition of yeast and with full destemming. Aged 6 months in large barrels.

Elegant scent of rosebud, blackcurrant leaf and pencil. Delicious velvety wine with fine-grained tannins and a fresh acidity. Long aftertaste.

Cabernet Franc from the Loire at this level is fantastic with food – especially game birds, but also goes well with e.g. lamb or veal.
