Description
The Cicala vineyard is about 45-50 years old and its vines are replanted from time to time. The main variety of Nebbiolo is Lampia and its rootstock is Rupestris du Lot. Harvest is done manually, with grapes selected in the vineyard.
Pure and supple in texture, boasting aromas and flavors of rose, cherry, raspberry, vanilla and toasty oak, this red is pretty seamless already, with refined tannins that emerge on the finish, needing time to absorb the oak. There’s also a saline mineral element that lingers at the end.
